Every door peephole from Strongar Hardware meets ANSI A156.16 standards and carries a UL fire rating of up to 90 minutes. The exterior profile remains compact, keeping sightlines clear.
Security Peephole Options
Our collection of door viewers includes 180-degree and 200-degree models to match different visibility requirements. The 180-degree model covers standard entry doors. The 200-degree version provides a wider view to the sides, ideal for hallways and buildings where guests might approach from multiple directions.
We offer viewers with privacy cover and without privacy cover. A door viewer with a privacy cover blocks reverse viewing, which is suitable for hotels, apartments, or offices. All models fit doors from 1-3/8" to 2-1/4" thick and are installed in 9/16" (180-degree models) or 5/8" (200-degree models) bore holes.
Lens Angle and Security Features
The glass optical system keeps the view clear and resists scratching, even with regular use. A wide field of vision reduces blind spots near the door, so you can check for movement before unlocking the door. The brass barrel fastens tightly from both sides, preventing loosening and improving tamper resistance.
