About Customs, Duties & Taxes

When ordering from strongarhardware.com, you're responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

 

Damages, defects and missing items Policy

If for any reason your hardware is defective, damaged or missing any item(s), it must be reported by email or phone within 48 hours from receipt date. Strongar Hardware will replace the defective, damaged or missing component(s) as long as it is within the 48 hour period.

 

Return Policy

All hardware returns must be made within 14 days from date of receipt. No returns accepted without prior authorization. A restocking fee of 20% applies on all non-defective returns. All returned goods must be accompanied by your invoice and return authorization.

  • Special Order items such as (but not limited to) special finishes and/or custom lengths are non-cancelable/non-returnable.
  • All hardware must be returned in its original packaging and in resaleable condition.
  • Credit for the full cost minus restocking fee will be issued to the customer upon receipt of the returned merchandise. Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method.
  • Once return authorization is received from us, you may send your package to us via your shipping method of choice. However, it is very important to use a method that provides a tracking number so you can follow its journey! It is also our recommendation that you insure the package since we will not be liable for items lost or damaged during transit.
