How long does it take my door hardware order to ship?

Answer:

All domestic hardware orders ship within 24 to 48 hours upon receipt of the order. We ship all door hardware and other products within the Continental United States via FedEx Ground at no charge on orders over $125.

Do you ship to countries other than the United States?

Answer:

Yes, we ship all of our entire collection of door hardware worldwide. We also do our best to ensure the shipping charges are very reasonable to our customers.

What’s covered by the warranty?

Answer:

We provide a 1-year warranty on all door hardware, accessories, and parts. Products will be free of defects in material and workmanship, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The Warranty excludes and does not extend or apply to: Normal wear and tear – damage caused to the product as a result of normal wear and tear. Misuse and abuse, or accident – damage caused to the product as a result of misuse or abuse. Improper maintenance or neglect – damage caused to the product as a result of improper maintenance or neglect products otherwise not being maintained in accordance with Strongar Hardware’s care and maintenance recommendations. Unauthorized alteration, modification, or repair – damage caused to the product as a result of alterations, modifications or repairs. No finish warranty is offered. Atmospheric conditions can cause staining and alkaline etching that varies by geography. In addition, frequent use will cause the finish to gracefully age in appearance. These finish changes are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by this warranty. If there’s an issue with any part, please contact us and we’ll gladly work to resolve it.

What thicknesses of doors does your hardware accommodate?

Answer:

Our door hardware can accommodate glass, wood or metal doors thickness up to 4-3/4 inches.

What rail length is necessary when installing a sliding wood door system or sliding glass door system?

Answer:

Having the correct rail length to accommodate your sliding wood door or sliding glass door system is important for proper functionality. Multiply the single barn door width by two to find out the perfect barn door hardware rail length for your situation. For a 4ft (48in) barn door an 8ft barn door hardware rail set is ideal.

Do you offer customization on door pull handles and sliding door hardware?

Answer:

We customize many styles, sizes, special center to center mounting holes and lengths of hardware. Please call us at 800-259-7254 to tell us about your project.

Is my credit card and other information safe?

Answer:

Yes, rest assured that we will never sell or share your information and implement security precautions to protect all customer information.

Do you have a paper catalog that illustrates all your barn door handles and locks, and other hardware accessories?

Answer:

We love the environment and as a result we don’t produce a paper catalogue.
